FLUTAB For cold & flu     COMPOSITION Each tablet contains 500mg Paracetamol, 30mg Pseudoephedrine HCl, and 25mg Diphenhydramine HCl.     PROPERTIES FLUTAB tablets are specially formulated to provide fast and powerful relief of Flu and Cold symptoms. It is based on Paracetamol which has analgesic and antipyretic effects combined with Pseudoephedrine as decongestant and Diphenhydramine as antihistamine.     INDICATIONS FLUTAB is indicated for relief of symptoms associated with cold and flu including headache, fever, cough, muscle aches, nasal congestion and runny nose.     DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION FLUTAB tablets are suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age. FLUTAB tablets are used in a doses of 2 tablets up to four times daily but don't exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. It should not be taken by children under 12 years except after doctor consultation.     PRECAUTIONS If pain persists for more than 7 days or fever for more than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted. This product should not be taken unless directed by a doctor in the following cases: - breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, glaucoma, or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland. - Heart diseases, high blood pressure, thyroid diseases or diabetes. - Stenosing peptic ulcer or pyloroduodenal obstruction. Caution is also indicated when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery.     PREGNANCY AND LACTATION As with any drug, a health professional should be consulted before using FLUTAB.     DRUG INTERACTIONS FLUTAB should not be given to a patient receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug.     PRESENTATIONS FLUTAB is available in tablets formulation.
