ZIMAX® is "azithromycin" the prototype of a subclass of macrolide antibiotics known as azalides. Zimax exerts its action on bacteria through inhibition of protein synthesis.
ZIMAX® is indicated in the treatment of infections due to susceptible microorganisms. The main indication is the treatment of respiratory tract infections. It is available in the form of capsules 250 mg and suspensions 200mg/5 ml and 300 mg/7.5 ml.

Proton is Pantoprazole 40 mg (enteric coated tablets). It works in the center of the problem in acid related diseases of stomach, duodenum and esophagus by blocking the acid secretion from its core i.e., the parietal cell. It has shown proven high efficacy in managing Duodenal and Gastric ulcers as well as Esophagitis.

FORMIT   Launched: September 2002
    Formit is Metformin, a biguanide derivative drug. It increases body's response to insulin by decreasing the resistance for it by cells, thus making the glucose enter and get utilized by the cells easily. It is highly beneficial in Type II Diabetes (also called Non-Insulin Dependant Diabetes Mellitus, the type of diabetes in which the cause of disease is cells' resistance to insulin). It is also helpful in Type I Diabetes (Insulin Dependant Diabetes Mellitus, which is a disorder of insulin deficiency).

Alone, it reduces gluconeogensis (glucose production by liver) by 30% and thus decreases plasma glucose. This is also evident by up to 2% decrease in HbA1c (glycated hemoglobin) It frees the patient from the risks of hypoglycemia and weight gain; both are great problems faced in Diabetes management.
