SAUDI MARKETS
SPIMACO successfully operates in all the different segments of the Saudi market with equal degree of success. SPIMACO enjoys leading positions in the Ministry of Health (MOH) and other government institutions. SPIMACO is the leading supplier to the Saudi private market. According to IMS, SPIMACO total sales in the private market (including licensed brands) put it at No. 2 position in the first quarter of 2007. SPIMACO own marketing and sales efforts in the private market addresses SPIMACO own brands. With a strong field force, SPIMACO's own promoted brands are enjoying leading positions in their respective therapeutic classes. During first quarter of 2007, SPIMACO's total sales of its own brands in the private sector attained 2nd rank in the industry.

INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
On line with its Strategic Objectives, SPIMACO started expanding operations to include other markets, to add to its successful experience in the Saudi Market.

SPIMACO started in the GCC countries but it progressed to other markets. The number of products registered increased and number of markets increased on the same direction. By 2006 the number of dosage forms registered reached more than 768 distributed in 14 countries in the Middle East, Asia & Africa.

In year 2000, Spimaco made a substantial step in its export activities by establishing its own company in Algeria under the name (Societe Saoudiene Spimaco - Alger). The new company was established with the objective of strengthening SPIMACO presence in the African Markets as the Algerian Market is considered the largest Market in the North Africa Region and the third largest Market all over the African continent. The new company is responsible from importing, selling, marketing and distributing SPIMACO Products in Algeria. Spimaco has its independent system of distribution and storage. For the same objective SPIMACO Board of directors approved an investment with other partners to establish a pharmaceutical plant (TAPHCO) in Algeria. SPIMACO is one of the Major investors in this project along with ACDIMA, SAIDAL, ALGERIAN JPM and DEGROMED. The machinery and equipments are now expected to start installation during 2007 and shall produce pharmaceuticals to serve the needs of the Local Algerian Market and export its products to other countries.

SPIMACO plans to enter more markets are unlimited and is expected to reach Europe and United States. To achieve its objectives, SPIMACO will employ every possible effort and will utilize all its rich resources to become among the elite in health care industry worldwide.
