COMPOSITION
Povidone iodine 7.5% w/v
POVIDERM Scrub is a microbicidal skin cleanser. It has a broad spectrum of efficacy: bactericidal (inc. tb), fungicidal, sporicidal, protozoacidal, and virus inactivating.

POVIDERM Scrub is virtually non-irritating to skin, wounds or mucous membranes. It is non-staining to skin or natural fabrics .

INDICATIONS
- Hygienical and surgical hands antisepsis.
- Preoperative cleansing of patients.
- Wound treatment.

USES
Surgical hands antisepsis:
Hands are wetted, 5 ml POVIDERM Scrub is added and hands are washed for 2.5 minutes. Hands are rinsed again and dried.

Hygienical hand antisepsis:
Hands are wetted, 3 ml POVIDERM Scrub is added and hands are washed thoroughly for 1 minute. Hands are then rinsed and dried.

Preoperative cleansing of patients:
Shave the skin area, wet with water. Apply POVIDERM Scrub and scrub thoroughly for 5 minutes. Rinse off by the aid of sterile gauze. The area may then be stained with POVIDERM Scrub .

PRECAUTIONS
- In case of deep or punctured wounds, or serious burns, consult a physician.
- If redness, irritation, swelling or pain persists or increases, or if infection occurs, discontinue use and consult physician.
- Keep out of reach of Children. - Do not swallow. .
