COMPOSITION
PROTECTAL is presented as a clear aqueous solution containing 2% Glutaraldehyde.

INDICATIONS
PROTECTAL is a Broad Spectrum germicidal for disinfecting/sterilizing medical/surgical equipments and instruments.
- PROTECTAL is a rapid-acting , non-staining and non- corrosive sterilizing and disinfecting solution.
- PROTECTAL is sporicidal, virucidal, Fungicidal, Tuberculocidal, Bactericidal and pseudomonacidal .

DIRECTIONS
For complete sterilization or disinfection of medical instruments and equipments, thoroughly clean, rinse and dry thoroughly before immersing in full strength PROTECTAL solution.
Flush PROTECTAL solution through the lumen of any hollow items.

DISINFECTION: Immerse completely for 10 minutes to destroy vegetative pathogens including pseudomonas aeruginosa and viruses such as Hepatitis B and HTLV III on inanimate surfaces.
For destruction of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, immerse for a minimum of 1 hour.
Remove equipment for PROTECTAL solution and rinse with sterile water as required.

STERILIZATION: Immerse completely for 10 hours to destroy pathogenic spores including clostridium sporogenes and clostridium tetani.
Remove instruments from PROTECTAL solution using sterile technique and rinse thoroughly in sterile water.

DIRECTIONS FOR ACTIVATION
- Add contents of the attached vial. Mix well, and do not dilute.
- Do not use activated solution beyond 14 days .

PRECAUTIONS
- Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Keep in a cold place (00-250 C) .
