Medical Appliances Plant is one of Saudi
Pharmaceutical Industries & Medical
Appliances Corporation (Spimaco), located at the1st
Industrial City - Dammam. This plant is one of
its kind in the whole of Saudi Arabia & GCC
Countries that producesMedical X-Ray Films of
Blue & Green sensitive grades in the
following sizes:
(18x24Cm.), (24x30Cm.), (30x40Cm.), (35x35Cm.)
& (35x43Cm.).
The specifications of the films are as follows:
1. Medium or high speed, high contrast films for
Radiography with minimal Radiation dose, used
with standard intensifying screen.
2. Suitable for automatic & manual processing,
also for use in rapid film changes.
3. Can be used with daylight system.
4. Packed in suitable materials to hold against
high temperature and humidity without
interleaving (NIF). 100 Sheets/Pkt.
This product is produced under strict humidity
& temperature condition, with a clean &
dust free atmosphere and with a very close
dimensional tolerance.
We are extremely proud to mention here that we
are producing this product with the collaboration
of one of the leading company in the photographic
line namely M/S KODAK INDUSTRIES - FRANCE and it
is worth mentioning that they are also extremely
happy to be associated with Spimaco in this task.
We are also having plans to expand our activities
further in the photographic line, and in the near
future, one of such activity will be to
manufacture laser films which is also called
Medical Imaging Films.
